The days are getting colder and in the woods the mushrooms are in full glory. We found several varieties including this lovely Fly Agaric on our walks. It will soon be time to start warming the house using off cuts of timber.
Bertha Update
Bertha the horsebox - soon to be Little Oak Emporium, continues with her transformation. She has been sandblasted and her frame has been treated to protect her from the wet weather. She is now wrapped up and ready for us to start putting her back together.
Screw Option
We are nearly ready to be able to offer the option of black japanned screws across our range of oak latches.
We think that the black screws look as stunning as the traditional brass and match those screws that are often supplied with T hinges used for some doors.
We use other timbers!!!
The copper hooks look stunning against this walnut base. If you would like an alternative wood for any of our products please contact us and we will try and source it.
